Description:

The adult female is wingless, legless and has an elongated, broadly mussel shaped, whitish to brown scale-like cover, 1mm, firmly attached to the surface. Not a pest of economic importance.

Leaves: Presence of scales on the leaves, reduction of photosynthetic activity

Fruits: Speckled unmarketable fruits
